Kuta and Legian beach
Getting Around Kuta Bali
In Kuta itself, the usual bemo fare to Jl. Kartika Plaza and Tuban to the south or to Jl. Melasti and Legian to the north. There are also bemos beyond Legian to Seminyak and Kerobokan. There are rent-a-car and motorbike agencies on almost every corner in Kuta and “transport?” is an extremely common touts' call. Bargain the price down, check the condition of the vehicle (take it around the block, try the AC, windows, handbrake, etc.), and meet the driver if you're asking for one. To avoid the hassle of looking for bemos or renting a vehicle, use a shuttle bus. And you can found it at Jl. Legian.

GETTING TO KUTA BALI
The airport taxi counter is immediately to the left as you emerge from customs outside in the International Arrival Terminal and the Domestic Arrival Terminal. And tourists can buy a ticket from the counter for the sedan taxis. Metered taxis operate outside the airport just beyond the entrance. Make sure they start the meter before you take off, or agree on a fare before you get in. If you want to take a bemo, just walk out to the intersection past the entrance and flag one down making the turn north (left) down Jl. Kartika Plaza through Tuban and beyond to Kuta.
